The right notes
To sing songs of our truth…
A truth revealing the perfect words
Of our love for each other and ours.
Words infused with the fragrance of red roses
And caressed with the melody of wind chimes in the breeze…
Funny to think we’d it all planned-
the right moment, the right music, right words…
Yet, when I saw my truth twinkling in your eyes
And you saw yours in mine,
Plans became a confused jumble of moments
And through the strains of music still being perfected
We heard ourselves, sure and clear
“I love you”!!!…
