Memory Lanes

Haven’t we all strolled along memory lanes?
Recalling faces, moments, fragrances
Reliving favourites that evanesce
Haven’t we all strolled along memory lanes?
Sensing how hard, to forget those ill times…
To cherish some parts, to stifle others
Haven’t we all strolled along memory lanes?
Recalling faces, moments, fragrances…

Celebrating Life

CCC136

Are heartaches so rare for us??
Nah, even the thought is so naive, for
this is a world streaked with joys and sorrows;
even bliss is incomplete unless sorrow complements it…
I never did understand this conundrum
but then, I’ve known life, still living on…
So, when I see the glint of hope among
cheerless clouds, I try, truly I do try
to let in the warmth of endless hope within…
to celebrate the coexistence of contradictions!!!

Thank you😊😊

Moments That Matter

Crimson Creative Challenge – Crispina Kemp

As I stand here oblivious
Of an empty fishing net,
And a day bidding bye,
Beside the gleaming waters;
The distant horizon lights up,
With hues from Nature’s palette
Beckoning this restless soul to be still,
And be part of this moment so tranquil.
Matters await that take my time and peace.
Yet, this mind, so haughty otherwise,
Stands here entranced;
To be part of this moment so tranquil.
